I am starting to go back for my certificate in accounting, can anyone give me ideas / tips for how to review to pass the CPA

For me, I ordered the study books from one of the major CPA prep companies. Give yourself 2-2.5 months lead time. Study one chapter a night, at least five per week. Do the study questions at the end of the chapter and the review the chapter one more time. Give yourself 1-2 weeks before the exam to do at least 500 practice MCQ's. This web site (CPAReviewForFree) has been great. Their bank of questions are considered harder than the exam. Don't worry if you score less than 75% on the practice questions. Use the incorrect answers to highlight gaps in your studying. Proceed with confidence!

I would add that for me, I remember material better when I see it a few times. So make sure to take good notes and highlight the textbook, and then review once or twice the week before the exam. Also, note or screenshot any multiple choice questions that give you trouble so you can review those later on as well.
