CPA Study Group
I have failed FAR 4 times now by 2 to 5 points every time and just found out I failed audit by 4 points despite my score report saying I performed stronger on the simulations than those that passed. I am feeling hopeless. I've been studying for almost a year now and I wanted to get them passed before I start working full time in October. Does anyone have any advice?
I failed BEC by 1 point (74). You're 2-5 points away. So we are both there, stay positive and re-review, but never ever give up. I'm stressing too, as I have law school looming.
Maura if that is your real name I am praying for you and everyone else having to pass these exams. Do you have any study tips on how to study for FAR sims?
Hey Maura. ugh, my heart breaks for you...it really does. Don't lose hope! You are so close. It's really crazy how the guards to the CPA license (aka the test makers) are really not testing your smarts. They're really just testing if you're using the best study method. In the meantime, a little bit about myself - my name is Rob, and I am here on CPARF as their Instructor and Tutor.
By day, I am a practicing tax accountant and auditor. By night and weekends, I am a CPA exam instructor and tutor. Over the last 5 years, I have helped more than 125 students to a at least 1 passing score of the CPA exams. Because of my work experience and experience passing the exam (all 4 parts in 8 weeks), I am able to provide value to my students in studying for the exam in a useful and most effective way possible.
