Team up with fellow candidates and conquer your exams.
Help us keep the community a great experience by adhering to the following Rules & Guidelines. **1. Remain respectful at all times** — The goal of our community is to create a helpful space for all students. Help us achieve this by being mindful and respectful of fellow students. If you see someone posting with incorrect tags, or in the wrong areas, leave a helpful comment on their post. If a post does not make sense, kindly ask for a clarification. If providing question feedback, please keep your feedback constructive. **2. Search Before Posting** — There is a good chance that fellow students may have already created a post or asked a question similar to yours. To help keep our community clean, be sure to search and join active discussions before creating new ones. **3. Be Descriptive and Use Appropriate Topic Names** — Help others understand your post with a descriptive and appropriate topic name. Please do not use misleading, attention-grabbing subjects. A well-articulated question is more likely to receive a response. **4. No Spam/Advertising/Self-promotion** — Our Community is for collaborative learning, not for advertising or self-promotion. Do not post unsolicited advertisements for goods, services, and/or other websites. **5. No “offensive” posts, replies, comments, profiles** — Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted. This includes user pictures. Please use common sense when posting, commenting, and replying. **6. No copyright-infringing material** — Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden. **7. No cross-posting questions** — Please refrain from posting the same question multiple times. You can use multiple tags if necessary to reach your intended audience. **8. Do not disclose actual exam questions** — The questions on active exams are confidential. Do not divulge the nature or content of any active exam question or answer under any circumstances. **9. Post with proper grammar and capitalization** — Please use proper grammar and punctuation. Please be open to gentle corrections. **10. Terms of Service** — Please remember that the [Terms of Service](/legal/terms-of-use) for this website apply within the community. We reserve the right to terminate access to the website for violations of our policies.
The community feature allows you to connect with other students studying for the exam. Like a traditional study group, you can share advice, ask questions, and help others understand topics which you have already mastered. ### A few tips to help you begin * **Your Participation Matters**— This forum won’t succeed without participation. If everybody only *asks* questions it won’t work. We built this feature as a resource for students to help each other. * **Create Posts**—You can create and answer posts while viewing a question or from within the main Forum. If you post from the question, please keep the discussion relevant to the question in focus. There is no need to copy/paste content from the question as it automatically attaches to your post. * **When to Reply vs Comment**—There are two ways to interact with a post, a *reply* and a *comment*. Reply to a post to provide the answer or a longer response. You can leave comments (short messages) on the post to ask for clarification or share your opinion. * **Connect in the Forum**—The main Forum hub is a central location where you can post about a variety of topics that are not specifically connected to the learning materials. This is a great place to compare exam strategies, learn from other student’s perspectives, and discuss any other topic that may benefit the community. That’s all for now. Be sure to review our [Community Rules & Guidelines](/cpa-forum/post/16) before creating your first post.
